Your Windows in the Cloud
Combine the power and security of the cloud with the versatility and simplicity of the PC.
Windows 11 Enterprise is licensed as an upgrade license to Windows Pro. Windows 11 Enterprise may be licensed through the Windows Enterprise per device license, the Windows Enterprise E3 per user license, or the Windows Enterprise E5 per user license. Users without Windows Pro devices to upgrade from may still license Windows Enterprise for remote virtualization scenarios with the Windows VDA E3 or E5 license.
The Windows 11 Enterprise edition may have all features of Windows 11 Pro, but with some extra features specially designed for IT-based organizations.
Windows 11 features major changes to the Windows shell influenced by the canceled Windows 10X, including a redesigned Start menu, the replacement of its “live tiles” with a separate “Widgets” panel on the taskbar, the ability to create tiled sets of windows that can be minimized and restored from the taskbar as a group, and new gaming technologies inherited from Xbox Series X and Series S such as Auto HDR and DirectStorage on compatible hardware. Internet Explorer (IE) has been replaced by the Chromium-based Microsoft Edge as the default web browser like its predecessor, Windows 10, and Microsoft Teams is integrated into the Windows shell. Microsoft also announced plans to allow more flexibility in software that can be distributed via Microsoft Store, and to support Android apps on Windows 11 (including a partnership with Amazon to make its app store available for the function).
Citing security considerations, the system requirements for Windows 11 were increased over Windows 10. Microsoft only officially supports the operating system on devices using an eighth-generation Intel Core CPU or newer (with some minor exceptions), AMD Ryzen CPU based on Zen+ microarchitecture or newer, or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 ARM system-on-chip or newer, with UEFI secure boot and Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 supported and enabled (although Microsoft may provide exceptions to the TPM 2.0 requirement for OEMs). While the OS can be installed on unsupported processors, Microsoft does not guarantee the availability of updates. Windows 11 removed support for 32-bit x86 CPUs and devices which use BIOS firmware.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
1. What is the primary difference between Windows 11 Enterprise and Pro/Home editions?
Answer: Windows 11 Enterprise is designed for organizations with advanced security, management, and deployment needs. Key exclusive features not found in Pro or Home include:
- Windows Defender Application Guard & Credential Guard: For hardware-based security against sophisticated threats.
- Microsoft BitLocker Administration and Monitoring (MBAM): For centralized control of disk encryption.
- Granular Group Policy Controls & AppLocker: For precise user and application management.
- DirectAccess & Support for Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC): For seamless remote access and stable, long-term deployments.
This edition is the ideal choice for businesses that require maximum control, security, and centralized management of their IT environment.
2. Is this a Volume Licensing key, and how does activation work for Enterprise?
Answer: No, the keys we provide for Windows 11 Enterprise are legitimate Retail sourced through authorized channels. Activation for Enterprise often differs from consumer versions:
- Key Management Service (KMS): For networks with 25+ devices, activation is managed centrally via a KMS server.
- Multiple Activation Key (MAK): For smaller deployments or individual devices, a MAK is used for one-time online activation or via telephone.
Upon purchase, we provide detailed instructions and support for your preferred activation method to ensure a smooth deployment across your organization.
3. Can I upgrade directly to Windows 11 Enterprise from Windows 10 Pro or Home?
Answer: Upgrading to Windows 11 Enterprise has specific pathways:
- From Windows 10/11 Pro: You can perform an in-place upgrade using an Enterprise edition installation file and your new product key. This process preserves files, settings, and many applications.
- From Windows 10/11 Home: A direct in-place upgrade to Enterprise is not supported. You must perform a clean installation of Windows 11 Enterprise, which will erase the existing system. We strongly recommend full data backup before proceeding with a clean install on any device.
4. Do you offer support for deployment, imaging, and enterprise-specific features?
Answer: While we provide the genuine license keys and basic activation assistance, advanced enterprise deployment and configuration typically fall under an organization’s internal IT support or a managed service provider (MSP). We recommend utilizing official Microsoft resources for complex tasks:
- Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) for creating system images.
- Official Microsoft Docs for configuring features like BitLocker, Group Policy, and Windows Update for Business.
Our expertise is in ensuring you receive a valid, working Volume License Key to serve as the foundation for your secure deployment.
