Affiliate Program Terms
These terms govern participation in the YourSoftwareKeys affiliate program. By applying, you agree to them. We may update them and will notify active affiliates of material changes.
1. Approval and eligibility
Every application is reviewed by hand. We may approve or decline any application at our discretion, and we may remove any affiliate at any time, in particular where promotion methods could harm our search rankings or brand. You must be the genuine owner of the websites, channels, or accounts you promote through.
2. Commission and payment
- Commission is 15% of the product value of each qualifying sale. Tax and shipping are excluded from the calculation.
- Attribution is last click with a 30-day cookie window.
- Once you refer a customer, qualifying future orders from that customer continue to earn commission (lifetime commissions).
- Payouts are made monthly by PayPal once your balance reaches the $50 minimum and the refund window on the underlying orders has closed.
- Commission is reversed on refunded, cancelled, fraudulent, or charged-back orders.
3. How you may promote
You may promote YourSoftwareKeys through your own website, blog, newsletter, social channels, videos, reviews, and deal posts, using the creative and links provided in your dashboard.
4. What is not allowed
The following will lead to withheld commission and removal from the program:
- No bidding on our brand terms in paid search, including “YourSoftwareKeys”, common misspellings, and our domain name. You may not run ads that send traffic directly to our site using our brand.
- No spam or manipulative link schemes. No private blog networks, link farms, paid do-follow link placements, automated link building, or anything that violates Google’s link spam policies. Affiliate links must be tagged so they do not pass ranking signals where required.
- No cookie stuffing or forced clicks.
- No self-referrals or purchases through your own link for your own benefit.
- No fake or unauthorised coupon codes, and no coupon pages listing codes we did not issue.
- No misleading claims about pricing, the software, licensing rights, or your relationship with us.
- No use of our trademarks in domain names, social handles, or app names.
5. Disclosure
You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship wherever you promote us, in line with FTC and equivalent rules. Where you place a link in editorial content in exchange for commission, tag it appropriately (for example rel=”sponsored”) so it complies with search engine guidelines.
6. Tracking and disputes
Tracking is handled by our affiliate platform. We rely on our own records to determine qualifying referrals. We are not liable for tracking lost to ad blockers, browser settings, or a customer clearing cookies.
7. Termination
Either party may end participation at any time. On termination, unpaid commission for qualifying, non-reversed sales above the payout threshold remains payable. We reserve the right to withhold commission earned through any breach of these terms.
8. Liability
Participation is at your own risk. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the program. These terms are governed by the laws applicable to YourSoftwareKeys’ place of business.
